Cofounder Careers
with Archlife Industries©
Let’s build our future remote careers, together.
COFOUNDER MISSION SUMMARY
As a distributed team of creative minds and ambitious hearts, we’re passionate about making the world a better place. Although we will not receive a paycheck for several months, we know that our vision for what we are developing for the world is what people want, and that we will be rewarded for our hard work.
The first marketable product that Archlife Industries is creating for the world is a Universal TV Remote EEG Wearable, which requires both hardware and software. This will not be easy, but if the “why” is strong enough, then obstacles will become hurdles.
We’re starting with controlling televisions with the brain, but our product will be WiFi -enabled to receive software updates, which will allow our users to gradually control other aspects of their SmartHome with their brain — we’re trailblazers of the neurotechnological revolution.
After our ideation, planning, research, and design phases are complete, we’ll be pre-selling our products on Indiegogo. Our team’s schedule for this process can be found lower on this page.

Our original cofounding team consists of four software engineers and data scientists, but we are now warmly welcoming additional members to our team — whose knowledge, background, passion, and experience fall into (at least) one of the following eight professions:
Develop the Apple/Android app for allowing the user to configure their EEG remote’s settings.
Train the machine learning algorithms that are used for interpreting the user’s brain’s EEG signals.
Program the firmware’s code that will be installed onto the device’s chip/board.
Design the look and feel of the EEG remote and facilitate sourcing and manufacturing.
Engineer the electrical schematics to ensure that the EEG remote is reliable and functionable.
Engineer the casing that will encase the EEG remote’s hardware parts.
Make our product marketable by graphically designing the flow of our Indiegogo campaign.
Creatively produce an outstanding crowdfunding video for our Indiegogo campaign.
We only work on projects that we feel will make the world a better place. You know the saying: what comes around, goes around.
We strive to enjoy the journey together. Although our destination is important, we’re more focused on our direction.
It can be easy to get lost in work, or to be distracted by life. Balance is critical for inner peace. Most of our work is remote.
…and we’re going to find it. We never give up. As Benjamin Franklin said, we can do anything that we put our minds to.
Throughout the entirety of our six months, we will have daily stand-ups Monday through Friday to report progress to the team. Accountability is a key to success.
▶ Everyone will be setup with a username/password to edit their own, individual subdomain (for example, FirstName.Archlife.org). This sub-domain webpage is a place for you to show off your experience, skillsets, background, and passions. We need our backers/users to feel confident in the fact that we’re a team of people who can do what we say we’re going to do. This exercise will also allow our team to get to learn more about one another.
▶ Everyone will be issued an archlife.org email address that will auto-forward to the email address that you provide in the application.
▶ This new address will be used to setup your account in our Archlife Industries Slack workspace (and other tools for collaborating remotely).
▶ We know what we are building, but we need to take the time to make sure that everyone is on the same page by collaboratively compiling our Product Vision Document via Notion.
▶ After aligning our group’s vision for the product, we’ll split up into smaller groups to invest two weeks into conducting technical research. Our group will be split into Software, Hardware, and Marketing.
▶ For each profession on the team, individual Notion pages have already been setup as a forum for stockpiling our resources/research. How do we plan on doing what we say we’re going to do? Which technologies will be needed to build our vision?
▶ Design the hardware, design the software, and design the crowdfunding campaign.
▶ Create digital mock-ups and screenshots of our designs to be used in the crowdfunding campaign.
▶ Code the software, prototype the hardware, and produce the crowdfunding campaign.
▶ Setup our manufacturing processes.
▶ Even after the pre-sale crowdfunding campaign goes live, we’ll still need to continue working out the bugs, to finish developing the software, and to promote our campaign for the greatest success.
